Amazon penny deals are items priced at one cent. On Amazon.com they come from two places: official Amazon Haul 1-cent events, and the odd regular listing priced at $0.01. Here is how to find each kind, what those shared “Amazon penny page” links really are, and how to avoid paying about $4 in shipping for a one-cent item.
Short version: the only reliable penny items on Amazon are Amazon Haul’s 1-cent deals, with a limit of one to three per customer. Shared “Amazon penny list” links are usually a search filtered to $0.01, and most results are digital items, add-ons or listings with high shipping.
Where Amazon penny items come from
| Source | How often | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Haul 1-cent events | A few times a year, around big sales | Real $0.01 prices on select Haul items. Limit 1–3 per customer. $3.99 shipping under $25. |
| Haul $1 and 11-cent days | During Haul events (November 2025 had both) | Thousands of items at $1, then a day of 11-cent deals. See items under $1. |
| Price-filtered search links (“penny page”) | Always online | A normal Amazon search with the price capped at $0.01. Mostly e-books, apps and listings that make their money on shipping. |
| Amazon Outlet and Amazon Resale | Every day | Deep markdowns on overstock and open-box items. Rarely a penny, often 50–80% off. |
How to find penny items on Amazon
- Open Amazon Haul during an event. Go to amazon.com/haul or tap Haul in the Amazon Shopping app and look for the 1¢ banner. Penny items are grouped by category.
- Read the limit first. 2025 events allowed three penny items per person; the June and October 2026 events allowed one. The banner shows the current rule.
- Sort by price, low to high, inside a Haul category to catch $0.01 and $1 items between banner updates.
- On regular Amazon, check the seller and shipping. A $0.01 item with $6.99 shipping is a $7 item. Look at “Ships from” and “Sold by” before you check out.
- Use Amazon Outlet and Amazon Resale for markdowns that last longer than a flash event.
What is the “Amazon penny page URL” people share?
It is a regular Amazon search link with a price filter set to $0 to $0.01. Nothing secret is behind it. The results change by the minute, many are digital or third-party listings, and some carry shipping that cancels the deal. It can be fun to browse, but it is not an Amazon penny list, and Amazon does not publish one.
Amazon penny deals vs Dollar General and Home Depot penny items
Store “penny items” at Dollar General or Home Depot are in-store markdowns that ring up at $0.01 at the register. Amazon works differently: there is no hidden penny price that shows only at checkout. On Amazon, the penny price is on the product page, and in practice that means Amazon Haul events.
Make a penny deal worth it: the shipping math
| Your Haul cart | Shipping | Extra discount |
|---|---|---|
| 1 penny item ($0.01) | $3.99 | None. You pay $4.00 |
| 3 penny items ($0.03) | $3.99 | None. You pay $4.02 |
| $25 or more | Free | None |
| $50 or more | Free | 5% off |
| $75 or more | Free | 10% off |
Penny items are only a bargain if you were placing a Haul order anyway. Build the rest of the cart from things you need. Remember that Haul items at $3 or less are final sale.
