- Look for ASTM F963 or CPC in the listing. It is not a guarantee, but a listing that mentions US toy safety standards is a better bet than one that does not.
- No small parts for under-3s. We run every toy through a small-parts check and say so on the card.
- Silicone and wood over hard plastic. Silicone feeding items and wooden puzzles have passed; thin hard plastic breaks into sharp pieces.
- Party bags are where Haul wins. Fidgets, crayons, and stickers at $3 to $4 a pack are a fraction of party-store prices.
What to skip
- Water beads. Serious ingestion risk; we do not list them at any price.
- Anything with button batteries and no screw-secured compartment.
- Magnetic building sets under $10. Loose magnets are a swallowing hazard.
