Electronics and gadgets are where Amazon Haul tempts you most and disappoints most often. We test the simple, low-voltage stuff that can actually be good at this price, and we are blunt about the categories we refuse to recommend.
How this list works: every item is ordered from Amazon Haul to a US address, unboxed on camera, and used for at least a week. “Testing now” means the order is placed and the verdict is coming; “Passed our test” means we would buy it again. Nothing here is paid placement. Read the full method.
What we are testing now
Gadgets are tested for a week of daily use. Cables are measured for charging speed; lights for battery life per charge; anything with a battery is checked for a brand-marked cell and basic safety marks.
Braided USB-C cable, 2 m
Wattage versus claim; connector wobble after 100 plugs.

- Low voltage only. USB-powered items, cables, stands, and organizers can be good. Anything that plugs into a wall is out.
- Numbers over adjectives. A cable listing “60W” or a light listing “1200 mAh” is making a testable claim. “Super fast” is not.
- Stands and organizers are safe buys. Aluminum laptop stands and cable sleeves have been consistent passes.
- Compare to regular Amazon. For gadgets the Haul saving is often small; if the same item is $2 more with Prime shipping, buy it there.
What to skip
- Wall chargers, power banks, and anything with a lithium cell and no brand name on it. We do not test these; the safety risk is not worth a $5 saving.
- Earbuds, headphones, and speakers under $10. Every unit we have tried failed on battery or pairing.
- Smartwatches and fitness bands. The sensors are decorative.
Questions
Are Amazon Haul electronics safe?
USB-powered, low-voltage items can be. We do not recommend wall chargers, power banks, or anything with an unbranded lithium battery at any price.
Do Amazon Haul cables work with iPhone?
USB-C cables work with iPhone 15 and later. For Lightning, we have not found a Haul cable that passed.
Is there a warranty on Haul gadgets?
No manufacturer warranty in practice. You have the 15-day return window and Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee.
