- Order three weeks out. Two weeks is normal Haul shipping; the third week is your buffer. For December, order by the first week of the month.
- Pick things with weight. Stainless, aluminum, wood, and silicone feel like more than they cost. Thin plastic does not.
- Budget $1 for a box. Haul items arrive in mail bags. A plain gift box fixes the presentation.

What to skip
- Anything with a brand name in the listing. It is not that brand and the recipient may know.
- Perfume, cosmetics, and skincare. Unverified sellers; we do not test or recommend them.
