Stocking candidates are tested like everything else, with the extra rule that each must be under $5 and small enough to actually fit in a stocking.

- Buy multipacks and split them. A 10-pack of scrunchies or cloths at $3 fills three stockings.
- Order by December 5. That gives the usual two weeks plus a buffer before the 25th. Later than the 10th is a gamble.
- Clear $75 in one order. Twenty items at $4 is $80: 10% off and free shipping. Split across two orders and you lose the tier.
- Under-$3 items are final sale. Fine for cloths and scrunchies; not fine for anything that has to work.
What to skip
- Candy, snacks, and anything edible. We never list food from unverified sellers.
- Small electronics. Earbuds and mini gadgets under $5 have failed every test.
